Another Surprise
Well, I had another great surprise today. I was checking Arleah's blog and there it was. ME!! A picture of me. You can't imagine how I felt. Things are getting better. Thanks baby. MWAH

The Weekend
It was a good weekend. On Saturday we had a party for my oldest son. He turned 18 on Sunday so he invited a few friends over and 3 of his cousins and his cousin's gf came over. It was a really good time playing games and eating. There was pizza, chicken wings (Buffalo wings for those of you not from Buffalo), taco salad, BBQ hamburgers, carrot cake, brownies, potato casserole, and cookies. Everything was good. I always enjoy playing loaded questions with him and my nephews. Some of the answers are so funny!
On Sunday we went to lunch to celebrate his birthday and Father's day. We had Mexican food. It was very good and the price wasn't bad. After that my son had to try the slot machines now that he is 18! hahaha. Don't get hooked! I took the two little ones to watch the horses while he and his mother played slots for a while.
for father's day I received a beautiful picture of my daughter that she made in school. There were hearts around it and the picture of her is just so pretty! My younger son gave me a plant that is really cool. It looks like a face and the hair is grass. hahaha. I was really happy with my two gifts.
The week is here again. It shouldn't be too bad this week since I will have 3 nights off. Yesssssssssssssssssssss!!!!
Oh, by the way, I didn't get the camera or computer or anything on my list! hahaha No surprise there!

Things I Want
I was just thinking of some things I want to get in the near future. These are all just material things. In no way should anyone read this and think of my Father's Day gift (ok Chief?).
1. A new computer. I think this one has served it's purpose but it is old and a new one would be great. I can just let the kids use this one to play games although they will probably take over the new one. hahahha
2. A new fishing rod, reel and tackle. I haven't gone fishing in a while. I used to love it because it is so relaxing. I don't eat much fish but I do love catching them....when I actually catch something!
3. An Ipod. I love to listen to music and I can use it at work.
4. A new car. Yeah, dream on! hahahaha
5. A digital video camera. It would be nice to have one. I can use it on number 6!
6. A vacation. I just need to get away for a while. This will probably happen in September or October.
7. A massage. It feels so good after and right now my body could use it. All the bending at work has wreaked havoc on my back.
8. Some new clothes. I like to dress nice when I can. I don't mean a suit or formal wear but some casual clothes to wear on my occasional day off.
9. A new cellphone. The one I have now is over 2 years old and the keys are not always working!
10. A cheese and pepperoni pizza from Bozana's. If you ever had one, you know why. The pizza is covered in pepperoni and I mean COVERED!
Most of these things I can just go get but for some reason I don't like to spend money on myself. hahaha.

Coming events
I'm thinking of what to do this weekend. I know it is only Monday but I'm excited about it already.
I will only have Wednesday night off again (it seems like I'm always working Thursdays now). I will probably just relax and hopefully get some sleep.
I want to get something this weekend. I don't know if I should get a new computer or a video camera. There are a few other things I want to get too but those two are probably the most needed. Once Sunday comes I will probably have neither though. hahaha
Saturday I want to go to a movie. The kids will want to see Kung Fu Panda, I am sure. It looks ok so maybe I will take them to see it. I also want to see a few other movies but none of them are for kids other than Indiana Jones. Maybe take the kids out to lunch or dinner too.
Sunday is Father's day and it is also my oldest son's birthday. We will probably go out for lunch and I know I will be working at night (probably some overtime too!)
Well, that's just how I feel now. I know it will all change except for Friday. It always does.

Trouble
Let's say that you have an argument with someone. Would you try to make that person's life miserable or would you just ignore what they do?
I usually just ignore the person. What they do really doesn't matter to me. Why would I waste my time hunting them down and waste more time trying to get them upset or angry? What happens if i spend all of this time and energy just to find out what I did had no affect on that person? I think that would make me even angrier.
I think moving on is the best thing to do. Why let someone else control your life?
I work with some people that wont retire until their ex-spouse dies. Well, what if they die first? hahaha Why would anyone let anyone else do that to them? These people let their exes control what they do. They force them to work many more years rather than retire and enjoy their lives.
Move on. Leave the past behind you. There is so much more to life that trying to upset other people. Ignore those that try to put you down and try to disrupt your life. If you do, the things they do will eventually backfire on them and you will be the one smiling.
