Human Nature????

I think it is human nature to expect people to do more of what they have always done. There is a joke that a wife asks a husband to do something and he intentionally does it wrong so that he isn't asked to do anything again.

It sounds funny but that happens a lot. I work with a lot of people that are really lazy and don't do their job. It has become expected that these people wont finish their job. So who does finish it? Those that actually do work. These people are expected to do more work because they actually do their job. Is that fair? Why not blame the ones that don't work and make them do their job? Why not hold them responsible?

It also happens in other parts of life. People that are responsible are expected to be even more responsible and those that aren't are give a free pass. Why is that? Why aren't these people held to the same standards? Why are they excused from being responsible just because they never are?

I'm tired of it. It is time to hold the right people responsible for their actions and not expect others to cover for them. Start blaming the right people, not the easy one to blame. I'm finished keeping quiet.
